Below are a selection of projects demonstrating our experience and expertise;
1.6MWp Solar PV – Over 5,000 solar panels
The project involved a design, construct and install a 1.6MWp solar facility in combination with a 2.6MWh battery energy storage system capable of diesel functionality to power the CSIRO’s Square Kilometre Array Pathfinder; the world’s most powerful radio-telescope system.
Location: Murchison, 645km northeast of Perth, Western Australia.
324kW Solar PV
With the goal of providing fuel independence and energy savings to the tourist resort Mackerel Islands, the team was engaged to design and construct a solar PV to connect with battery and diesel as part of a microgrid.
Location: Thevenard Island, offshore from Onslow, 1,300km north of Perth, Western Australia.
The Carnarvon 300kW Solar Array
Engineered to withstand category D cyclonic conditions, the Carnarvon Solar Array is a 300kW PV solar power station connected to Horizon Power’s network. The system produces 600,000kWh annually and offsets 180,000 litres of diesel representing a saving of 483 tonnes CO2

60kW system at a food factory
The project involved a site feasibility study, analysis, modelling and solar PV system design prior to installation and commissioning of the a 60kW rooftop solar PV system.

100kW of grid-connected solar PV
The Mandurah Performing Arts Centre solar solution met Western Power’s grid connection requirements by integrating a reverse power protection system to prevent the system feeding power into the grid.
The solution was optimised using shading analysis to provide panel layouts to suit the complex roof geometry at the site whilst minimising panel shading.

100kW grid-connected solar PV array
Despite the complex shape of City of Melville's office roof, the engineering team was able to maximise the installed capacity across the building.

150kW grid-connected solar PV array
The project involved an instalation of a 150kW grid-connected solar PV array at the Indian Ocean Rock Lobster Processing facility in Cervantes, WA. The existing PV array integrated with the new PV system by using a single unified control system. This is managed by the reverse power relay to ensure that no electricity produced by the solar PV system was exported into the grid.
100 kW of solar PV and a leading edge solar smoothing battery and inverter system
At Karratha Quarter, the design involved two independent systems, each involving 100 kW of solar PV and a leading edge solar smoothing battery and inverter system.
One system incorporated a custom designed and built car shade structure. These systems are based on a high-power 2C battery configuration integrating Samsung NMC batteries, ABB PCS100, in a containerised (10ft) configuration to facilitate pre-commissioning in Perth, WA.
102kW of solar PV systems across WA Police sites in Perth
These systems included 40kW installations at the Northbridge Police Station and 40 kW at the Mirrabooka Police Station as well as smaller systems in Scarborough and Morley.
The entire Kimberley could be powered by renewable energy
We submitted over 70 applications for on-grid rooftop solar systems in Broome during the month of July and have been completing these installations as they are being approved.
Recently, Generators and Off-Grid Energy entered into a Joint Venture arrangement with H&M Tracey Constructions, one of the largest construction firms based in the Kimberley. This Joint Venture brings together substantial Kimberley building experience, with both on-grid and off-grid energy expertise.
